MEET THE BOARD
Asia Waddy
President
Asia is entering her last year at CSUSM and is studying to earn her degree in business management. She’s excited to continue her role as president, see new and returning members of the society, along with continuing to spread the mission of “inspiring today’s students to become tomorrow’s great leaders.”
Outside of school, she enjoys staying active, getting coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
Isabella Merrick
Vice President
Isabella is beginning her final year at CSUSM as a Business Management major. She is excited to begin her journey as Vice President of the Management Society, as well as President of the Pre-Business Society. She looks forward to the guest speaker lineup and activities planned for the fall semester. Additionally, she hopes to use the experience that she’s gained during her college career to help new and existing members in any way that she can.
In her free time, Isabella enjoys being outside, traveling, and time with friends and family.
Beatriz Galicia
Marketing Director
Beatriz Galicia is in her final semester at CSUSM, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Organizations. As the new Marketing Director for the Management Society, she's eager to help students connect with resources from the Society and CoBA. Beatriz aims to apply her CSUSM experiences to a future in the arts, crafts, and hobby industries.
Beatriz is passionate about arts and crafts outside of school, especially sewing. She enjoys creating clothes, bags, and quilts and tailoring thrift clothes.

Malina is a fourth year, majoring in Business Management. Her goal is to work in Hotel Management, specifically at the front desk, and work at a Hilton or a Disney Resort hotel.
As secretary, Malina looks forward to meeting new members, creating long-term connections with students, and being a resource to all.
Outside of school, Malina enjoys thrifting, going on nature walks/hiking, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
Cameron is a senior entering his final semester at CSUSM as a Business Management major. He is excited to serve as Treasurer for the Management Society and looks forward to the great speakers lined up this semester and making connections. Cameron also serves as the teacher's assistant for MGMT 432: In The Executives Chair and is excited to help facilitate student education.
In his free time, Cameron plays chess, watches sports, and spends time with his girlfriend, Jess. He is super excited to graduate and seize new opportunities as he enters the workforce.
Alyssa is a third-year student entering her final year at CSUSM. She is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in management and organizations. Her goal is to become a project manager, consultant, or developer. Alyssa is looking forward to being a part of the management society as a leader and is looking forward to meeting the members and students who join us. She hopes to make a positive impact on the organization by expanding outreach to fellow students, working with the members to foster a positive community, and supporting her peers in their future goals and endeavors.

Outside of school, Alyssa enjoys going to the beach, thrifting, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
Skyler Gibbs
Ambassador
Skyler is currently entering her third year at CSUSM, hoping to pursue her degree in Human Resources. She hopes to also continue expanding her knowledge in different forms of investments, specifically in stocks and real estate. Skyler is excited to join a leadership position with the Management Society this semester and hopes that with her role as one of the ambassadors, she can foster a sense of community and encourage personal and professional growth among all members.
Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, staying active, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Kimberly McCarthy
Faculty Advisor
Kimberly McCarthy is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business Administration at California State University, San Marcos. Her areas of research interest include workplace communication, incivility, and high performance teams. Prior to joining CSUSM, Dr. McCarthy received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine as well as an MBA from Creighton University.
In her spare time, Professor McCarthy enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and kids. She loves the beach, camping, and couldn't live without the Southern California sunshine!
