Asia Waddy
President
Asia is entering her last year at CSUSM and is studying to earn her degree in business management. She’s excited to continue her role as president, see new and returning members of the society, along with continuing to spread the mission of “inspiring today’s students to become tomorrow’s great leaders.”
Outside of school, she enjoys staying active, getting coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
Isabella Merrick
Vice President
Isabella is beginning her final year at CSUSM as a Business Management major. She is excited to begin her journey as Vice President of the Management Society, as well as President of the Pre-Business Society. She looks forward to the guest speaker lineup and activities planned for the fall semester. Additionally, she hopes to use the experience that she’s gained during her college career to help new and existing members in any way that she can.
In her free time, Isabella enjoys being outside, traveling, and time with friends and family.
Oralia Garibay
Marketing Director
Oralia Garibay is currently a third year at CSUSM, majoring in computer information systems. As the new Marketing Director for the Management Society, she's excited to collaborate with her peers and figure new ways to promote the new club. She wants to invite more students to come and inform themselves about different opportunities from guest speakers.
Outside of school, she enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and going on fun adventures like snowboarding.

Skyler is entering her third year here at CSUSM as a Business Management major. She is excited to serve as Secretary for the Management Society team and looks forward to network with professionals in the community, build new connections with our members, and continue learning through new experiences
In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
Malina is a fourth year at CSUSM and is majoring in Business Management. Malina's goal for this semester is to connect with new members and guest speakers as well as learn how to manage the society’s finances so that we are meeting our budget goals. .
Outside of school, Malina enjoys going to cafes, reading, working out, cooking, and thrifting.
Alyssa is a third-year student entering her final year at CSUSM. She is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in management and organizations. Her goal is to become a project manager, consultant, or developer. This semester, she aims to expand the society's connections with business professionals and provide career and internship opportunities to current and new members.
Outside of school, Alyssa enjoys going to the beach, thrifting, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
Kasey-Kai Leffler
Ambassador
Kasey-Kai is currently entering his fourth year at CSUSM, hoping to pursue his degree in Business Management. During his time as an Ambassador on the Management team, he hopes to network and connect with many incoming COBA students as will as graduating COBA students.
Outside of school, he enjoys going to the gym, has a passion for photography, and enjoys laying back and watching a movie.
Aleena Moreno
Ambassador
Aleena is currently entering her third year at CSUSM, hoping to pursue her degree in Human Resources Management. During her time as an Ambassador on the Management team, she hopes to expand her community by connecting with other peers and gain valuable experience.
Outside of school, she enjoys going to festivals, watch basketball, and hang out with family and friends.
Dr. Kimberly McCarthy
Faculty Advisor
Kimberly McCarthy is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business Administration at California State University, San Marcos. Her areas of research interest include workplace communication, incivility, and high performance teams. Prior to joining CSUSM, Dr. McCarthy received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine as well as an MBA from Creighton University.
In her spare time, Professor McCarthy enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and kids. She loves the beach, camping, and couldn't live without the Southern California sunshine!
